A collision involving two cars occurred in De Mortel on Sunday. One of the vehicles left the scene and ended up several hundred metres away in a ditch. The driver, a woman, was detained on suspicion of driving under the influence. An earlier account said that a young driver had been injured after a car left the Bakelseweg and overturned; the later account identified the detained driver as a woman and described a head-on collision.
