A collision damaged a barrier near the Coentunnel interchange, leaving the reversible lane unavailable. No one was injured. The connecting road from the A8 to the A10 West was initially fully closed, with traffic from North Holland diverted via the A10 North, but two lanes have since reopened. The barrier still needs to be replaced.

The disruption caused congestion on the A8, around the Coentunnel and on the A7. A separate accident near Amsterdam-Zuidoost closed the left lane on the A9 towards Amstelveen.
