Police said they found 10 kilograms of cocaine hidden in the doors of a car in Emmeloord during a check last Thursday. The car was driven by a 43-year-old man from Rozenburg in South Holland, who was already known to police as part of an ongoing investigation. A subsequent search of his home found another 10 kilograms of hard drugs.

The car and drugs were confiscated, and the man remains detained, police said.
