Police seized 60 kilograms of cocaine and two firearms during a raid on a building in the municipality of Gilze and Rijen, following an investigation into drug trafficking. Officers conducting surveillance on 8 October saw bags being transferred before going to the suspects' location later that day.

Two 30-year-old men, from Tilburg and Rijen, were arrested at the building and remain in custody. The investigation is continuing.
