Citroën is reportedly preparing an electric version of the iconic 2CV, also known as the “Ugly Duck”. The move follows new versions of the Mini, Fiat 500 and Renault 5 introduced by competitors. The 2CV was conceived as an affordable car for ordinary French people and remains popular. It has been described as a cheerful, slow-moving and noisy little car that waddles along.
