The A-Theater on Akerkstraat in Groningen celebrated its centenary. Built in 1926 as an association venue for Grönniger Sproak, it has hosted singing, acting and parties and now brings together music, theatre and other performing arts. The theatre’s historic character remains visible in parts of the building. It also has new plans, though no details were reported.
