A car entered a canal near the Heusdenseweg in Waalwijk after the driver lost control. The two occupants, a man and a woman, got out of the vehicle and were uninjured, though they were shaken.

The car was not removed on Tuesday night and is due to be recovered on Wednesday, possibly with a diver and a lifting company.
