The ABN Amro building at Stationsplein in Enschede remains threatened with demolition. Politicians and residents reportedly do not consider the building distinctive enough, although it was designed by the same architect as the Euromast. The Historical Society and heritage association Heemschut want to preserve it and are considering possible steps.
