Ellen Souleman from Nijverdal, who is blind, has recently started using smart glasses that help her see. She said the glasses made her feel happier, freer and more independent, and that she felt as if she had regained part of her sight. Souleman said the fierce discussion about the glasses’ privacy risks and other negative aspects hurt her. In her view, the glasses could help thousands of visually impaired people.
