Five people were arrested after a person was threatened with a firearm in Breda on Tuesday evening and forced into a car. Police received a report of a conflict at Nieuwe Haagdijk at about 9.45pm. The victim was later left at a car park on Princenhagelaan, while the suspects drove away in the car. Police believe the victim may also have been robbed.

Officers found the car and arrested its five occupants around the middle of the night at Acaciastraat. Those arrested were a 23-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman from Breda, a 20-year-old man from Hoogerheide, and two underage boys from Bergen op Zoom and Breda. Police are investigating what happened and the role of each suspect.
