The court in Zwolle upheld the conviction of former Groningen mayor Koen Schuiling and fined him €250 for indecent exposure. The court found sufficient evidence that he masturbated while driving on the A7 between Hoogezand and Groningen in March 2024.

Schuiling had appealed after an earlier conviction, seeking acquittal. He denied masturbating and said he had loosened his belt and rubbed his abdomen because of stomach pain, but the court rejected that defence.
