A man from Almelo suspected by German authorities of murdering a disabled, wheelchair-using man from Enschede remains in custody in the Netherlands and is not being extradited to Germany for the time being. The reports differ on his age, giving it as 42 and 43.

He is also suspected in the Netherlands of a sexual offence and possession of child pornography, which is why he remains there for now.
